In 1931, Allan M. Wicker started the A. M. Wicker Insurance Company to provide individuals with the best insurance plans. Allan then partnered with Charles Ivey between 1945 and 1953, and the company name changed to Wicker & Ivey. Barry Wicker, who is Allan’s son, then became an insurance broker and joined the business in 1963. The company changed to its current name, Wicker & Son Insurance Brokers Limited, in 1970.
Jeremy Wicker, who is the third generation of the Wicker family to join the business, started in 1995. Since the beginning, we have been proudly providing the people of Ontario with personal service, including insurance advice, policy changes and maintenance, and claims support.
